DavComm is involved in the design, creation and marketing of various software packages, principally
Document Management, in which any Windows documents are linked to records within those packages.
The packages are based on the DocScan module which scans documents and stores them in a compressed,
multi-page file under a database generated specified name. This module and the related databases
were developed by Davidson Communications. Files are stored saving up to 90% disk space.
Essentially the user is able to store 10 times as many scanned images on his computer as previously.
Documents are scanned or linked into the system and cross-referenced in a database according
to the client's specifications.
DavComm is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa. The company has been in operation since
1998 and in this time we have installed numerous systems countrywide.
