The organisation is based in Isando, Gauteng. Their operation controls the certificates issued by Engineers
in respect of work undertaken by roof installers. These certificates are covered by Insurance Underwriters who will pay out claims if the work is not up to standard.
There has been a large number of forgeries of these certificates so the decision was made to centralise the certificate database.
We were approached and have developed a Central database verification system which covers all the information on the certificate as well as scanned copies. The Engineers can upload the information and the scanned documents to the system and any person can search for their certificate and verify that in fact a valid certificate covers their property, and that they are covered in the case of a structural defect in their roof.
